Game-based Training


As part of a 5-week training course for educational facilitators, the Client needed an assessment that could be tracked. The assessment needed to short in duration, fun and engaging.

Our solution

We worked with the SMEs to produce a game-based module consisting of several time-based exercises. The learner gains points for each correct answer and is awarded a badge at the end based on their score. Learner-centred feedback is also provided throughout the exercises to provide additional content and instructions specific to the errors made.

What were the results?

The module was well-received by the participants and formed an integral part of the 5-week training course. Completion rates were higher than previous programs, and feedback gathered from the regional managers was very positive: learners particularly enjoyed the ‘fun’ element of the game and the overall aesthetics.
